The new two-minute, 36-second trailer highlights the epic expanse of Middle-earth in its Second Age, revealing how Tolkien’s legendary and beloved characters will come together against all odds and over great distances to guard against the dreaded resurgence of evil to Middle-earth. Fate collides and disparate characters are tested in the face of impending evil in this glimpse of the highly anticipated new series.

The trailer features key cast members Galadriel played by Morfydd Clark, Elrond played by Robert Aramayo, High King Gil-galad played by Benjamin Walker, and Celebrimbor played by Charles Edwards among others. The other characters also include Harfoots Elanor “Nori” Brandyfoot played by Markella Kavenagh and Largo Brandyfoot played by Dylan Smith along with Númenóreans Isildur played by Maxim Baldry, Eärien played by Ema Horvath, Elendil played by Lloyd Owen, Pharazôn played by Trystan Gravelle, and Queen Regent Míriel played by Cynthia Addai-Robinson.
Peter Mullan, Owain Arthur and Sophia Nomvete, Charlie Vickers, Nazanin Boniadi, Ismael Cruz Córdova and Daniel Weyman are also part of this extensive all-star cast. The first two episodes of the multi-season drama will launch on Prime Video on Friday, September 1 or 2, in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide, depending on time zone, with new episodes added weekly.
