The scene mocks Trump’s claim about declassifying documents

The co-hosts of “The View” had a field day on Fox News’ “Hannity” interviewing former President Donald Trump, in which he claimed the president could declassify documents just “thinking about it.” Whoopi Goldberg led the responses, as she closed her eyes and pinched her fingers—pretending to be deep in thought—saying, “I’m thinking of her in prison.”

The comment drew loud applause from the audience, to which fellow co-host Sunny Hostin sarcastically chimed in, “Because you could only think of stuff, and stuff just happens.”

Trump made this remark after New York Attorney General Letitia James announced the state court case seeking damages of a quarter billion dollars, over widespread fraudulent claims against him, his family members and the company. Hostin continued, “You know [James] There are receipts. It’s a 220-page lawsuit, and it gives its annual financial statements for years and years and years. ,

There is a separate ongoing criminal investigation, which Trump characterized as “witch hunts,” involving highly sensitive documents that were confiscated by federal agents from Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home and resort in Florida. The former president’s own legal team has resisted attempts to confirm whether the documents in question were declassified.

Joy Behar reacted to the news, saying that Trump has been accused of exaggerating his earnings and wealth for decades: “He exaggerates everything,” he said, adding that he would probably joke that his Nearby is once the “biggest, most beautiful” cell. He goes to jail. “I’m in a fourteen thousand square foot cell!”
