“Wednesdays,” the Netflix series about a teen Wednesday Adams, finally has a premiere date. The series will drop on November 23, Netflix announced Friday.
“Wednesday” is executive produced and directed by Tim Burton, with showrunners, EPs and writers Alfred Gough and Miles Miller. It stars Jenny Ortega as the teenage member of the famous Addams family.
Here’s the logline for the series: “From the imagination of Tim Burton, ‘Wednesday’ is a cryptic, supernaturally-influenced mystery of Wednesday Adams’ years as a student at Nevermore Academy, where he tries to master his emerging psychic potential. tries, thwarts a monstrous murder spree that has terrorized the local town, and solves the murder mystery that engulfed her parents 25 years ago – all in Nevermore with her new and while navigating very tricky relationships.”
Ortega said in a statement that Wednesday’s version of her is a teenager, and has begun to grow up.
