7/7 The opening scene – Spider-Man: No Way Home

The relationship between Peter and MJ was one of the many highlights of the iconic Spider-Man: No Way Home. The opening scene of the film showed Spider-Man and MJ swinging through the streets of New York as everyone was filling out their true identities. We all know that the Netherlands is very hands-on when it comes to performing its own stunts. However, we all laughed out loud when Zendaya teased Holland The Graham Norton Show about their height difference, when she mentioned her landing in front of him while performing these swinging stunts.

6/7 Fight the Elementals – Spider-Man: Far From Home

Spider-Man: Far From Home was one of the first projects released after the events of Avengers: Endgame and people waited in agonizing anticipation around what was to come in the MCU. Well, Holland’s Spider-Man was a great way to go. There are many action scenes to choose from in this movie, but the fight against the Elementals was one of the best. Before the movie came out, Holland revealed some hilarious teasers surrounding this movie in which his stunt double was decked out by a huge wave of water. Of course, Holland was featured in most of these fight scenes to keep certain moves authentic to his actual body movements.

5/7 Washington Monument – Spider-Man: Homecoming

The very first leading superhero film in the Netherlands was Spider-Man: Homecoming, and since then he has easily become a fan favorite across the MCU franchise. Holland clearly showed his physical abilities in the stunts in this film. They have recreated the top part of the Washington Monument so that the Netherlands can safely perform the stunts in this part of the film. With his impressive background in gymnastics, the actor felt incredibly comfortable performing flips, tricks and stunts that would be physically demanding for the average person. Scaling up and breaking into the top of the Washington Monument in this movie is just one of them.

4/7 The Tsunami—The Impossible

The impossible is more of a disaster drama than an action movie, but the Netherlands’ ability to perform stunts is incredibly shown here. At the young age of 14, Holland starred in the disaster movie of 2012 The impossible. During the scene where the massive tsunami is supposed to hit the resort, Holland’s character jumps into the nearby pool as the water washes into the plants and other debris. Incredibly, the Netherlands were able to jump into the pool in just a few takes.

3/7 The Elevator Scene – Spider-Man: Homecoming

Now back to Spider-Man: HomecomingThere are many stunts that are a perfect representation of the MCU Spider-Man and many of them can be attributed to the ability and willingness of the Netherlands to participate in some of these stunts. When some of Peter’s classmates get stuck in an elevator at the Washington Monument, Peter must make sure they don’t drop dead. Spider-Man holds up the falling elevator suspended from a web and uses his entire body to hold up the weight.

2/7 The Airport Fight – Captain America: Civil War

Holland made his MCU debut as Peter Parker/Spider-Man in 2016 Captain America: Civil War. It was a tall order for any actor to introduce this character to the MCU, but Holland’s ability to bring parts of Spider-Man to life with such a high level of authenticity made him an instant favorite. During the airport fight in the film, Spider-Man had to go up against some of the MCU’s strongest heroes, such as Captain America, The Falcon, and Hawkeye. The Netherlands’ ability to pull off many of these stunts and action sequences has consistently given this franchise something special.

1/7 The Plane — Uncharted

not mapped is the movie in which Holland said he performed his most difficult stunt of his career yet, as reported by Cinema Blend. That’s why, of course, it’s included in our list. not mapped is a 2022 action-adventure film starring Holland, Mark Wahlberg, Sophia Taylor Ali, and Antonio Banderas. Now this movie is packed with incredible action scenes. But this one in particular may have to put the crown on the line: Holland falls out of a plane and on his way out he is hit… by a car. Holland performs this stunt impressively himself rather than using a stint-double, going into detail about the physical toll this took on his body of getting hit over and over until they got just the right shot. If this doesn’t show his dedication as an actor, we don’t know what will.
