EXCLUSIVE: The guestlist for CBC’s upcoming paranormal series Ghosting with Luke Hutchie and Matthew Finlan has been unveiled.
Actors Kevin Alves (Yellowjackets), Katie Douglas (Ginny & Georgia), Devyn Nekoda (Scream IV), Bukola Ayoka (Robyn Hood), Zoé de Grand Maison (Riverdale, Orphan Black), Jade Hassouné (Shadow Hunters) will appear in the series, along with Broadway and Celebrity Big Brother UK star Frankie Grande (Big Brother), his husband Hale Grande and Canada’s Drag Race competitor Synthia Kiss.
You can watch them in action in the trailer above in the show, which is billed as an unscripted paranormal comedy, from Blue Ant Studios.
Ghosting follows EZRA stars Hutchie and Finlan, both known for their work in the horror genre, as they step off script and into a quest to discover whether or not Canada’s spookiest places truly are haunted. It debuts on Friday, January 26, with all episodes launching on streamer CBC Gem, and then on CBC television in the spring, on Sunday, April 28 in a 9pm weekly slot.
In one episode, de Grand Maison joins the pair to investigate the case of a heartless murder at The Olde Angel Inn, and in another Nekoda heads to the mysterious Castle Kilbride to explore the supposedly supernatural Victorian mansion. No stranger to a creepy cabin the wilderness, Yellojackets star Alves is seen looking into the potentially demonic McDonald Log Cabin in Aliston, Ontario, and Douglas ventures into Auchmar Manor, joining Hutchie and Finlan to determine if the decadent and dramatic residence is haunted.
