One of the long awaited movies, Ponniyin Selvan-1 (PS-1), is scheduled for this week on September 30. The epic historical novel PSI-1, was written in the 1950s by Kalki Krishnamoorthi and now the film is directed by film guru Mani Ratnam. The costumes, life-size sets and minuscule details on display have all been carefully designed to recreate a historical drama from the Chola era, which is one of the film’s highlights. Even during the promotion of the film, the main cast remained committed to their roles. Trisha Krishnan’s promotional attire tended towards the aesthetic of her on-screen role as the Chola princess Kundavai.

Every costume she wore to promote the film praised the durability of the Indian hand-woven material. The actor has donned some standout outfits that we can’t stop wearing, including sarees. With Trisha Krishnan’s most recent performance, we shout “all hail the sun!” She added a touch of warmth to a Neeta Lulla creation. The Kodic starlet wore a pretty yellow sequined saree, accentuated by a gorgeous white beaded trim and embellished with feathers strewn around the curtain and on the hem. Nothing is more beautiful than a blouse to complete an appearance. The sleeveless blouse was a beautiful sight to behold, with a plunging neckline and beaded embroidery.
Her accessories also focused on a vibrant display with beads creating an awe-inspiring atmosphere. Her ensemble was completed with bracelets and chunky beaded earrings. She chose not to tie her hair up and her complexion glowed with lots of dewy, sparkling eyes, filled-in eyebrows, bare lips and thick-looking lashes.
