During Netflix’s TUDUM 2022 event on Saturday, September 24, 2022, a lot of exciting content related to the streaming service’s shows was released. However, there was one video that faithful Brellies want to be sure of and clear their schedule to watch: The Umbrella Academy third season blooper reel. Starring and supporting cast of the super-powerful Netflix streaming series, the reel gave fans the chance to laugh along with the Hargreeves siblings as they await the release of the show’s upcoming final season.
The blooper reel features cast members Elliot Page (Viktor Hargreeves), Tom Hopper (Luther Hargreeves), Emmy Raver-Lampman (Allison Hargreeves), David Castañeda (Diego Hargreeves), Robert Sheehan (Klaus Hargreeves), Aidan Gallagher (Number 5.. Hargreeves), Justin H, Min (Ben), Colm Feore (Sir Reginald Hargreeves), Genesis Rodriguez (Sloane), Jake Epstein (Alphonso), and Ritu Arya (Lila).
The blooper reel features plenty of scenes that will get Brellies excited for more of their favorite super-powered siblings after the cliffhanger ending of Umbrella Academy Season 3. These include highlights such as Sheehan yelling that he’s lost his panties, Hopper using very blue language when he stumbles on a line, and Page reiterating that he messes up his props during a particularly challenging scene. While on the show, Hargreeves’ siblings regularly face high stakes challenges, this blooper reel is filled with the actors enjoying light-hearted laughs while getting their work done.
What is TUDU?
TUDUM is the “global fan event” that celebrates Netflix’s “fans and their favorite titles”. In addition to Umbrella Academythe event featured trailers, blooper reels, and other content for shows like Weird stuff, The school for good and evil, Money Robbery: Korea – Joint Economic Areaand the upcoming Rian Johnson-directed Glass Onion: A Knife Mystery.
Together with the Umbrella Academy blooper reel with the cast, the TUDUM 2022 event also included the release of “A Whole Lot of” Umbrella Academy Super fans: fans pay tribute to the Hargreeves.” This video featured some of the show’s biggest fans showing their affection for the series. This included talented cosplayers and makeup SFX artists, as well as the work of fans creating their own artistic interpretations of the characters.
The Umbrella Academy will return for a fourth and final season, set to debut on Netflix sometime in 2023. In the meantime, the first three seasons are currently available for streaming on Netflix.
