Valhalla Season 2 First Look Trailer

Netflix confirmed that Vikings: Valhalla returned for a second season and the third season within a month of the release of the first eight episodes. The streamer’s No. 1 series is a spin-off of the historical drama Vikings, which aired on the History Channel in 2013, and is set 100 years after the exploits of Ragnar Lothbrok (Travis Fimmel). As tensions mount between the English royal family and the Vikings over their conflicting Christian and Pagan beliefs, the 24-episode Netflix series will chronicle the end of the Viking Age, marked by the Battle of Stamford Bridge in 1066. The second season is slated to air. its 2023 release, Netflix finally gave fans a first look trailer of Vikings: Valhalla during TUDUM, a worldwide fan event.

From creator and showrunner Jeb Stuart, Vikings: Valhalla also stars of series regulars Johannes Johnansson as Olaf the Stout, Bradley Freegard as King Canute, Laura Berlin as Emma of Normandy and David Oakes as Godwin, and guest-starring on the series Pollyanna McIntosh as Queen Ælfgifu, Soren Pilmark as Sweyn Forkbeard and John Kavanagh as The Seer. Season 2 also introduces Bradley James as Harekr, Hayat Kamille as Mariam, Sofya Lebedeva as Elena, and Marcin Dorocinski as King Yaroslav the Wise.


Vikings: Valhalla Ranked #1 on Netlfix

Produced in Ireland by MGM Television, Vikings: Valhalla is a Netflix original series purchased from Amazon for $8.45 billion. The first season debuted on February 25 and had a successful run on the streamer, #1 on the Netflix Top 10 for the week of February 28 – March 6, with just over 113.4 million watch hours on Netflix’s global platform. The series also racked up 80.5 million hours of viewing during the first two days of the week before, bringing it to 194 million hours of viewing in its first nine days.
