The protagonists of Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan Vikram Vedha has seen a major spike in his business on the second Saturday. Early estimates say the film is in the range of €3.75 crores to 4.05 crores, with total collections close to Rs. 65 million dollars. The film made big profits in the national multiplex chains on Saturday and it looks like a real multiplex movie.

There will be another peak in business on Sunday, which should last a total of 10 days until Rs. 70 million dollars. Vikram Vedha will be led to a final finish of approximately Rs. 85 to 90 crore, although larger than most releases this year, is a low result for a Hrithik Roshan film.

The film is a failure, and that has a lot to do with the low opening, which almost sealed its fate. The trend after opening day was that of an accepted movie, with decent grabs on weekdays and big jumps on weekends, but the starting point was so low that the movie would never go anywhere else from then on.

The lifetime business can fall under Rs. 100 crore, and the three-digit mark could have been a face-saving result for this Pushkar and Gayatri director. Fortunately, the big non-theatrical deals will break even the producers, but that’s not saying much, because the theatrical medium’s contribution will be less than 40 percent of the total revenue.
