Warner Bros. and DC are reportedly fond of producing Man of Steel 2 with Henry Cavill returning as Superman. As quoted by the IGN report, James Gunn is secretly working on another DC movie in which WB Discover has an “intense desire” to see Cavill back as Superman. In fact, a project that “essentially” Man of Steel 2is reportedly looking for writers.

Prior to the release of Black Adam, there has been much discussion about actor Henry Cavill’s possible return as Superman. Plus, Dwayne Johnson is also teasing Henry Cavill’s Superman return in his upcoming anti-hero movie.
Recently, the post-credits scene for Black Adam has been leaked online; however, the posts were subsequently taken down by the respective platforms. According to several reports, the leaked footage includes Henry Cavill’s possible return as Superman.
As The Hollywood Reporter points out, Warner Bros. determined to bring Cavill back into the role and let Superman play a much bigger role in the DCEU moving forward. Cavill’s Superman last appeared in Justice League before they are revived Cut snyder.
While Man of Steel 2 only stays in discussions at Warner Bros., Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam comes out on Friday, October 21. The film marks Johnson’s debut in the DCEU.
