Jack Weller didn’t just win “Jeopardy”! On Tuesday, he won over the audience with a hilariously wrong answer that even made host Ken Jennings laugh.
Weller, a law student, Lost to Brian Chang in a rare tie-breaker Last season’s round and second chance tournament adds another “Jeopardy!” highlight.
In Tuesday’s episode, under the category of “Plurals that don’t end in these”, Weller was given a “moose” clue, to which he promptly replied… “What are meze?”
“No,” laughed Jennings, “no, Jack!” right answer? He will also be “moose”.
It is an understandable mistake to consider the plural of “goose” to be “goose” (however, the plural of “mongoose” is “mongoose”, further proving how difficult grammar questions can be), and any question Not doing that Weller otherwise played a killer—and winning—game of “Jeopardy!” (He will be back this weekend for the finals of the Second Chance tournament).
