“The View” host Whoopi Goldberg sent a very strong message Monday, using her Halloween costume for the show to advocate for abortion rights.
The theme of this year’s holiday episode was “Iconic TV Characters,” with each host dressed up as a character they’ve loved for decades. Sunny Hostin dressed as Queen from “Bridgeton”, Alyssa Farah Griffin as Carrie Bradshaw from “Sex and the City”, host Joy Behar appeared as Peggy Bundy from “Married with Children”, Anna Navarro dressed as Charo from “The Love Boat” and Sarah Haines from “Shit’s Creek” arrived as Catherine O’Hara’s character Moira Rose.
To round out the group, Goldberg dressed as June Osborne from “The Handmaid’s Tale”. Behind her red cloak were several idioms: “My body, my morals, my life, my choices.”

Although Goldberg didn’t go into detail about her dress choices like her fellow co-hosts at the start of the show, she has long been vocal about a woman’s right to do what’s best for her and her body. Is.

So, well, get out of my uterus,” she said. “Take me to my doctor because you don’t know what’s going on with my body. You don’t know. And so you don’t know who will get an abortion, because we’re not telling you!”
