Now that season one from She-Hulk Lawyer wrapped up, everyone online is speculating about She-Hulk’s future and what this means for the MCU. Even other notable writers and actors have responded to the possibility. With a steady stream of heroes coming out of the woodwork of Disney+’s streaming shows, new superheroes face stiff competition for top spot on the team.
She Hulk Lawyer introduces Jennifer Walters as the lawyer cousin of Bruce Banner (The Hulk). In a car accident, Bruce bleeds on Jennifer’s open wound and his super DNA mixes with hers. The series follows Jen as she tries to balance her newfound superpowers with her old lawyer life. Regardless of how you feel about her TV show, here are some reasons for She Hulk to join the Avengers.
She Hulk Powers
Starting with the series premiere and opening episodes of She-Hulk, the writers made it clear that she was not just another copy of Hulk or Bruce Banner. Jennifer Walter’s stressful job gives her a lifetime of practice to manage her emotions. She adapted to her Hulk form easily and in a fraction of the time it took Bruce Banner.
In the comic books Hulk may be the strongest, but in She-Hulk Lawyer, She-Hulk defeats Hulk in a series of events. It’s still unclear if She-Hulk is actually stronger than Hulk in the new canon of the MCU, but at least she’s proven to be his equal. Jennifer’s Hulk form also seems to have healing properties. Her blood healed Bruce’s arm after the two cousins crashed their car. Jennifer Walters has proven time and again that she’s just as strong as any other Avenger, and she’s yet to reach her full potential, either as a hulk or as a lawyer.

She-Hulk is one of the first female heroes in the MCU to get that much screen time. Jennifer Walters is not your usual supermodel with superpowers, but struggles with the same kind of problems as everyone else. Jennifer questions her purpose, her identity and her contributions to society. Her story highlights the difficulties women face when entering jobs traditionally dominated by men.
Not only does she represent women, but she is also an all-round relatable character. Almost everyone struggles with issues such as dating, work-life balance, and other external pressures. She-Hulk represents not only women, but also the proverbial ‘average person’.
Legal Support from Jennifer Walters
The Avengers are known for saving the world, but they have also caused a great deal of death and destruction. A trail of property damage and collapsing buildings seems to follow every superhero — not to mention the political schisms that took place in Captain America: Civil War, Spider-Man: No Way Home, and almost every other Marvel movie. These real issues create serious conflict for our heroes and slow them down on their way to saving the day.
As Jennifer Walters develops her newfound strength and finds a new work-life balance, her legal expertise can become a powerful asset. Her knowledge could solve and prevent many legal problems. Not to mention that her real-life screenplays add an element of realism to the films. If superheroes really ran around the world, serious policy and contract changes would be needed. We know the Avengers can take on alien armies, but can they settle a civil dispute? She-Hulk may be the missing link.

In just one season, She-Hulk Lawyer has amassed an impressive list of contacts. Her family ties are just the tip of the iceberg. Jennifer Walters has met all kinds of different characters, both new and old. She represented villains from Hulk’s past, teamed up with the Sorcerer Supreme and even Daredevil. In addition, Jennifer’s own dear friends provide extra fun in the franchise.
Plus, Jennifer Walter’s approachable personality allows her to connect with other heroes and villains across the board. She could play an important role in gluing together a new and evolving team. Her knowledge gained from representing super villains also gives her a unique insight into the villains the Avengers are up against.
What about the She-Hulk finale?
A big problem with She-Hulk’s entry into the Avengers would be a bit more conceptual than literal. In She-Hulk LawyerJennifer Walters essentially destroys the fourth wall and becomes aware that she and everyone else are a character created by Marvel, dictated by a computer algorithm from a “Kevin Feige bot” named after Kevin Feige, the president of Marvel Studios .
That said, how is such a meta, self-aware character expected to compete with other characters she knows are owned by Marvel Studios? How could she even live her life knowing that this whole MCU reality is a complete fiction? It looks like the final of She-Hulk would lead to a total existential crisis for any recognizable human who has experienced what Jennifer Walters did, confronting her creator (a lame robot). Bringing She-Hulk into the Avengers would either have to clear some canon and recount the events of She-Hulk Lawyer, or commit the MCU to meta-crazy as long as She-Hulk is involved. Again, that may not be a bad idea.
