William H. Massey to guest star in ‘The Conners’ Season 5

“Shameless” star William H. Massey is set to guest star in “The Conners” Season 5, where he plays Smithy, one of Dan’s (John Goodman) high school best friends, Joe Lanford. visits.

The ABC spinoff for “Roseanne” follows the daily struggles of a family in Lanford, Illinois, as the clan grapples with parenthood, dating, financial pressure, and aging in working-class America. Through it all – fights, coupon cutting, hand-to-mouth, breakdowns – the family prevails.
