Women in Film Announces She Said Crew as 2022 Honorees

Women in Film announced the talent behind Universal Pictures’ upcoming “She Said” — actress Carey Mulligan, producer Dede Gardener and the book’s original authors Jodi Kantor and Megan Twohey — as the 2022 winners for WIF “Forging Honors.” forward”.

Producer Gardener is co-chairman of Brad Pitt’s production company Plan B and has produced such films as Barry Jenkins’s “If Beale Street Could Talk,” Adam McKay’s “The Big Short,” Ava DuVernay’s “Selma” and “12 Years Steve McQueen’s. a slave.”

The event, which is themed “Moving Forward,” will also award Michaela Coel with the Jane Fonda Humanitarian Award and Lili Reinhart will receive the WIF Max Mara Face of the Future Award. Viola Davis, Jane Fonda and Sheryl Lee Ralph will attend the event as presenters.
