Singer-songwriter-producer Wonho released his second single, Bittersweet. Consisting of two tracks, Wonho took part in writing, composing and producing both the main track ‘Do not be sorry’ and the b-side track ‘On & On’ (feat. YUNHWAY). Bittersweet comes four months after Wonho’s third mini-album FACADE.

the main track’Do not be sorry’ expresses two contrasting moods and shares Wonho’s message that we should not regret our past memories, but realize that they have left beautiful traces to create the moment we have now. The lyrics express the doubt, misunderstanding and waiting when you love someone. It is dedicated to those who do not regret love, including Wonho himself. The music video metaphorically shows the emotional stages of a breakup, as the viewer is taken on an emotional rollercoaster of anger, negotiation, depression and ultimately acceptance.
The b-side track ‘On & On’ is a dance song with rapper YUNHWAY. Currently in the limelight of the Korean hip-hop scene and known for her unique vocal tone; the blending of YUNHWAY and Wonho’s vocals seamlessly brings together the song’s dreamy vibe. Overall, Bittersweet shows Wonho’s honesty while expressing a variety of emotions that are bitter but sweet, exciting and depressing. The main purpose behind this album is Wonho’s acknowledgment to WENEE (Wonho’s official fandom) and a reminder that he will always be with them.
In June 2022, Wonho released his third mini album, FACADE. Consisting of 5 songs, Wonho took part in writing and producing songs for the entire album. Just like his second mini album Blue Letterand first single album OBSESSIONWonho once again teamed up with producer ENAN, the soulful voice of Sun Ahn, and singer-songwriter Brother Su to bring this album to life.
