Located at the end of a private road, the site is surrounded by extensive farmland and dusty roads. According to Soil, seven unique spaces are available for short and long stays, special events, filming and photo shoots. The site includes a main residence, barn, guest house, carriages, trails, blooming gardens, a large riding stable and several hundred-year-old oak trees.

The structure that shout 3 used as Sidney’s residence is known as the Gate House. Most notably, the Gate House was shown at the very end of the film, where Dewey Riley (David Arquette) proposed Gale Weathers (Courtney Cox) on the main deck. That scene was followed shortly by Sidney feeling comfortable enough to leave her front door open, which was supposed to be the end of a trilogy.

“We were all very sorry that Sidney deserved the right to have the doors open.”

Where guests will stay

The remodel has made the cabin less rustic and has a more bohemian or Old Hollywood glam vibe. However, the barn doors, brick wall cladding, bay windows that were visible in the film, and the general layout remain intact.

It consists of two bedrooms and a large bath in 1,053 square feet. There is also a living room, dining area, loft with a peaked roof, fully equipped kitchen with a farmhouse sink, professional stove, espresso machine, and a stainless steel appliance suite with an oversized two-door refrigerator. The property also features its own washer/dryer and WiFi.

Guests will find two huge decks outside the cabin, with one in the front filled with chaise lounges, a fire pit, dining area, BBQ, shower, and a cedar soaking tub that seats six. The secondary terrace wraps around the back of the house and is equipped with rocking chairs, seating area and access to the master bedroom.

Rates on Airbnb start at around $600, which some may find scarier than any horror movie they’ve seen. Guests should also know that deer are likely to greet them upon arrival. However, they will no doubt offer a much warmer welcome than Ghostface or the ghost of Sidney’s murdered mother, Maureen (Lynn McRee).
