Favored to take home Lead Actress in an Emmy Drama Series for the second time, Zendaya came out on top once again and managed to set another record for herself.
The 26-year-old actress, who became the youngest winner in 2020 when she won her first Emmy for her portrayal of troubled addict Rue on HBO’s avant-garde drama, became the youngest actress to win two Outstanding Emmys.
The multihypenate was also nominated for co-writing two different songs at last week’s Creative Arts Emmys. (“Schmigadoon!” won the Music/Lyrics category.) .
