The Akshay Kumar starrer Ram Setuc sees a downward trend in checkout collections in India. After collecting Rs. 26.65 crore through the first two days, the film fell by 30 percent on the third day. According to early estimates. Ram Setuc has collected in the range of Rs. 7.60 to 8.20 crore on the third day. There is a 35 percent drop in the multiplexes, but the mass bands acted as a stabilizer and took the overall drop in the 30 percent range.

Ram Setuc falls after opening day, but that was to be expected as the film was released on a Tuesday with mixed reports from critics and audiences alike. Tomorrow – Friday is the acid test. if Ram Setuc drops 15 to 20 percent on Friday, then it will end its run well below Rs. 100 crore mark at the till. Even on the third day, the company took advantage of the Diwali festival holiday in the mass belt.

On Friday, most states will be out of the festive spirit and so it won’t be too surprising if there is still a drop in numbers. The three-day numbers are low for a festival release with a star of Akshay Kumar’s caliber. The three day business for a Diwali release should have been the Rs at worst. 45 crore, but Ram Setuc has fallen short of expectations.

Over the next 3 days we have to see if Ram Setuc can somehow reach around Rs. 60 crore mark as that could keep it in the running for a century, though the trend in the first 3 days suggests a tough path for this Abhishek Sharma directed action adventure.
