ZEE5 announced the digital world premiere of eraser namea psychological thriller which is the Hindi dubbed version of the blockbuster Telugu thriller, Rakshasudu. The film stars Bellamkonda Sreenivas and Anupama Parameswaran in the lead roles and it is the official remake of the 2018 Tamil film, Ratsasan. The Hindi movie, cuttputli starring Akshay Kumar and Rakul Preet Singh is also an official adaptation of the original film, Ratsasan which also arrives on Disney+ Hotstar on the same day.

Produced by Pen Studios, directed by Ramesh Varma and edited by Amit Khan, eraser name will premiere on ZEE5 on September 2, 2022. The story in eraser name revolves around Arun, played by Bellamkonda Sreenivas, who gives up his dream of becoming a filmmaker and takes on the job of a police officer after the death of his father. He then tries to track down a psychotic killer who targets schoolgirls. Tragedy strikes when the predator kidnaps and brutally murders his niece, leading to many plot twists in this on the edge of the seat film. The film has great music, including a song by the late singer KK, making Gumnaam his last film.
