The last three releases from Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, Bachchhan Paandey, Samrat Prithviraj and Raksha Bandhan, failed to create magic at the box office. However, the actor is already looking forward to his Diwali release in theaters after cuttputlli was released earlier this month on Disney+ Hotstar. And now the makers have announced the release date of the upcoming movie.
Akshay Kumar Actor Ram Setu To Hit Theaters THIS Date; creators to release the ‘first glimpse’
Khiladi Kumar used his verified social media handle and shared a poster with him along with the release date on it, which is October 25, 2022. Meanwhile, in the caption, the actor gave an update to his fans as he wrote: “Come with us and be part out of this exciting journey…/Global first glimpse of Ram Setu, today at noon”, in Hindi.
In less than 30 minutes, the announcement post has racked up over 123k likes. On the other hand, the comment section is flooded with fan reactions. While many dropped red hearts and fire emoticons, some of the netizens wrote “can’t wait”.
Earlier, Bollywood Hungama reported that the upcoming movie’s trailer has been approved by CBFC with UA certificate while its running time is revealed. A source told us: “Akshay Kumar is already gearing up for his fourth theatrical release this year and fifth overall. After the release of Raksha Bandhan in theaters in August, his next one is Ram Setu hitting the theaters during Diwali 2022.
Adding further, the source continued: “Now fans can get excited that the film’s trailer has been U/A certified by CBFC. The running time of the trailer is approximately 3 minutes and 10 seconds. The countdown to the launch of the trailer begins.”
Speaking of the film, along with Kumar, the star cast also includes Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushrratt Bharuccha. Directed by Abhishek Sharma, the film is an action-adventure drama that puts forth a story deeply rooted in Indian cultural and historical heritage.
