Ekta Kapoor is reportedly going all out to revive her most ambitious film KTina, which she would previously do with Disha Patani. However, it is rumored that Ekta has now removed Disha from the film and plans to cast her Dream Girl heroines Nushrratt Bharuccha or Ananya Panday in the film. Yes! As reported in Bollywood Hungama, Ekta Kapoor has now decided to go ahead with the film without Disha, who was reportedly even prepping for the role and taking Punjabi classes. The film was on the back burner, but now the producer plans to revive it, but not without Disha Patani.
Ananya Panday and Nushrratt Bharuccha in a race?
According to reports, Ekta Kapoor now considers Nushrratt Bharuccha or Ananya Panday as her leading ladies who are at the top of their game unlike Disha Patani. While Nushrratt collaborated on Dream Girl produced by Ekta and now Ananya Panday is part of Dream Girl 2, the film is also reportedly written by Raaj Shaandilyaa and supervised by Ashima Chibber. The buzz is that Ananya Panday could land the role, as she has become every filmmaker’s current favorite despite Liger’s failure at the box office.
After Liger’s failure, Ananya Panday soon jumped on her for another film with Ayushmann Khurrana and the girl was asked to take some acting lessons by the actor because she was extremely bad in the lead role of Vijay Devarakonda. While talking about Disha Patani her latest release Ek Villain Returns was a dud at the box office and at the moment she has not signed any new movies because her back to back movie failed to impress the audience and this is one of the reasons why Disha was replaced KTina reportedly. Well, many actors face the lack of work after the failure of their movies.
