Fox News host Jesse Watters says impeaching Donald Trump over his “hush money” allegations is putting his life at risk.
“And I have to tell you. You are putting Donald Trump’s life in danger,” Waters said Tuesday during the weekday conservative news show “The Five.”
Trump pleaded not guilty to 34 felony counts of falsifying business records earlier in the day. It comes after the former president was impeached last week, making him the first president to be impeached.
“You’re setting that up and advertising to the whole world that the former President of the United States, the Republican candidate for president, is going to be at this place, at this time, on this date. And you have the towers , and you have windows,” Waters said, meaning someone could potentially try to harm or even assassinate Trump.
“You think it’s good for this country to put a guy like that in a certain place – December 4th. And then what if it goes to trial? He has to be there every day,” Waters said. asked the question. “You think that’s what the Secret Service wants? He’s dangerous. And he’s playing a dangerous game.”
