Jeremy Renner Says He Wrote ‘Last Words’ After Snow Plow Accident – Deadline

Jeremy Renner says he wrote “last words” on his phone from the hospital after the Jan. 1 snowplow accident that left him in critical condition.

In an interview with Diane Sawyer that aired Thursday at 10 p.m. ET on ABC — and teased further today Good morning America – The Avengers: Endgame The actor said he would have died after being run over by his own snow plow if it weren’t for his nephew Alex.

“If I had been there alone,” Renner, who is in a wheelchair, tells Sawyer, “it would have been a horrible way to die, and it certainly would have been me. Surely. But I wasn’t alone – it was my nephew, sweet Alex, and [then] the rest of Calvary came.”

Sawyer appears GMA Additional clips tomorrow, said co-host George Stephanopoulos. Check out the clip released today below.
